Founded in 1998 in Alaska, The Born Losers developed a style influenced by punk and rock and roll. Following a relocation to Portland in 2003, the band maintained an active performance schedule but disbanded in 2005, having released only a single record through an Italian label. In 2013, the members reunited for a studio session, recording material accumulated over 15 years live within two days. Subsequently, lead singer Ryan Sollee continued his career with the prominent group The Builders and the Butchers.
