Judy Page was a prominent singer in South Africa, winning multiple SARI awards (South African Record Industry) in 1970 for Best English LP (for Time and Love) and Best Female Artist. She is well known for her South African Top 20 hits such as "Elusive Butterfly" and "Montreal".

The album is part of a series of releases Page produced during this era, including other 1965 works like Green Grow the Lilacs and Something Good. While widely unavailable in physical form today outside of vintage vinyl markets, the album was re-released digitally.
