On janvare 13, (February 13 VINYL) 2026, two important albums from Statuto's discography will be re-released: "Tempi Moderni" and "RiSKAtto."
The first, originally released in 1997, contains 12 songs in pure "British and power pop" style with rich guitar and orchestral arrangements, reminiscent of the best productions of Blur and Oasis, so much so that the Turin mod band opened the Gallagher brothers' Italian tour in 2002.
The second, originally released in 1999, contains 14 songs, including: 11 Italian versions of the most famous English ska songs ("Madness," "Specials," "Bad Manners," and "Selecter"), two ska versions of Italian classics from the 1960s ("Bandiera Gialla" and "Bada Bambina"), and a song dedicated to the Grande Torino football club on the fiftieth anniversary of the Superga tragedy ("Grande," with lyrics by Gianpaolo Ormezzano). A notable feature is that of RETTORE, who sings the Italian version of "On My Radio" by Selecter.
Both albums were produced by the late Carlo Ubaldo Rossi.
