Sassy 009, the project of Oslo-based musician Sunniva Lindgård, has released a conceptual album titled Dreamer+, the culmination of four years of studio work. The record blends experimental electronica with elements of grunge, shoegaze, and early 2000s alternative rock. The album's narrative is inspired by dark fairy tales and themes of self-discovery, though the storytelling remains veiled behind dense layers of synths and vocal effects. A central feature of the sound is the technical and diverse drum programming. The work shifts from aggressive electronic passages to a surprisingly soft final piano ballad, evoking the atmospheric tension of classic thriller soundtracks.
