Saxophonist Dezso Lakatos makes a great appearance here – blowing bolder lines on alto and flute over the work of the Hungarian trio of George Vukan on piano, Balasz Berkes on bass, and Imre Koszegi on drums! The group's a great one, and didn't get as much exposure outside of their scene as they should – very warm and inventive, in the best tradition of the sorts of European trios that often ended up on overseas labels during the 90s and 00s – like Sawana or Sketch, which should be an endorsement by us as to their strengths! The album features lots of original tunes that really help them take off – including "Elliptic Dance", "Song For Annette", "Lament", "Elisabeth", "friction", "Red Rock Falls", and "Blue In Yellow".
