The Statycs – Brainthrough (2014)

Ten years ago a group of friends decided to share their love for 60’s music by forming a band covering songs from bands such as THE QUESTIONMARKS AND THE MYSTERIANS,THE SONICS,THE VENTURES and others similar of the kind.
Ten years later we are happy and proud to welcome this band,THE STATYCS in FUZZ OVERDOSE RECORDS family.BRAINTHROUGH is the band’s debut release ,an absolutely amazing ORGAN-DRENCHED album with ten brand new and own compositions and one cover(surprisingly an unusual for a Garage Rock band).BRAINTHROUGH sound takes you back to the late 80’s early 90’s GARAGE ROCK REVIVAL and bands like THE FUZZTONES,THE CHESTERFIELD KINGS THE CHEEPSKATES and others.It’s obvious that THE STATYCS refuse to follow the tends and trends of nowadays and remain focused on playing the Pure garage rock revival of the 80’s.A catchy organ line and a simple guitar riff is enough….This is it…work done…ROCK ‘N’ROLL!!!!
