Bara & Isa - Spring EP (2026) [Hi-Res]

Bara & Isa follow up their debut album ‘(ii)’ with ‘spring ep’, a hopeful, gentle collection of pieces, once again using a plethora of various small instruments, layered vocals and improvisational techniques. Abstract in form yet song-based, the London/Vienna duo manage to carve out their unique little bit of territory, somewhere between avant-folk, lullabies and devotional music. Released at the height of winter, in a time of multiple crises, this ep aims to offer some consolation and hope. Unlike '(ii)'s exploration of disconnection and the digital space between, ’spring ep' was born out of in person improvisations at home - reconnecting during short visits, traversing themes of sobriety, friendship, finding meaning in small things - syncing-up through sound.
