Dirty Sound Magnet – Me and My Shadow (2026) Hi-Res

Dirty Sound Magnet, a Swiss rock band from Fribourg, was formed in 2008 by Stavros Dzodzos, Marco Mottolini, and Maxime Cosandey. The trio initially bonded over their shared passion for the psychedelic rock era of the 1960s and 1970s. In 2009, they released their debut album Activate the Magnet with Kamar and Sebastien. Didier Coenegracht joined as vocalist and keyboardist in 2012, contributing to the albums What Lies Behind and The Bloop. After Coenegracht's departure in 2015, Dirty Sound Magnet built their own recording studio in a Swiss nuclear shelter and released Western Lies, which included the single "Homo Economicus". The band gained traction with subsequent releases like Transgenic (2019) and Live Alert (2020). In 2022, they won the Swiss Live Talents award for Best Rock Performance and released DSM-III. Their album Dreaming in Dystopia was released in 2023.
