The early days of Queen's career in the 1970s are a particularly well-documented period. From the release of their highly successful self-titled debut album in 1973 to 1975's A Night At The Opera, which catapulted them to superstardom, they embarked on a particularly innovative and charismatic career.
Now we get to see a lesser-known side of Queen. Between February 1973 and October 1977, the band gave the BBC six exclusive radio sessions. The twenty-four important recordings include alternative versions of their debut singles, unique takes on classic album tracks, and radically reimagined versions of their best-known anthems that had never before appeared on a Queen studio release.
