Although a trio at the time of their success and popular records, The Easy Riders were formed initially fro a duo of performers, Richard Dehr and Frank Miller. It was when they met up with singer/songwriter Terry Gilkyson in 1953 that, as a trio, they started on their path to fame. This 2CD set is comprised of four albums, each consisting of 12 tracks. The first disc opens with 'Marianne And Other Songs You'll Like' which was the groups first album in 1957, and as the title suggests it contains their popular song "Marianne" which helped establish the group as a popular folk act. Following that is 1959s 'Wanderin''. Then 1960s 'Rollin'' open disc two and is followed with 1961 'Remember The Alamo'. This is yet another great CD from Jasmine Records' ever growing collection of folk CDs and proves once more that the music, songs and vocals by groups of this ilk stand the test of time and sound just as fresh today as they did when they just stepped out of the studio.
