Guther - I Know You Know (2003)

The Berlin-based band Guther, consisting of Julia Guther and Berend Intelmann, released their debut album "I Know You Know," which was recorded at home within a remarkably short period. The project's music is characterized as emotional and minimalist pop, where the sonic quality of the lyrics takes precedence over complex meanings. Despite the lack of commercial ambition during the creative process, the group successfully blended indie-pop traditions with modern electronic production. Released on the Morr Music label, the work is noted for its genuine sincerity and lack of artistic pretension.
