Max Hoffman - Looking for the Light EP (2026) Hi-Res

What can you expect from a singer-songwriter who wrote his first song at the age of six? Well, at least to show that there is talent there and the ability to craft songs that will pique interest among prospective listeners. And yes, New York’s Max Hoffman, who started writing songs at such a young age, does show both on his debut, Looking For The Light.

The six songs Hoffman presents here show both talent and promise, but also that he needs to enrich his songs with more ideas and details, something he is obviously able to do, but something that he surely needs to work on so that he will be able to stand out of a very dense singer-songwriter crowd.

Will he be able to do it? He surely seems to be able to do it, the promise is there, it is up to him now to do it even further, and this debut EP is something he can build upon.
