The album "Konsertti I" marks the third full-length release by the Finnish project Mahti, a collaboration between members of the avant-garde rock band Circle and kantele player Hannu Saha. Moving away from their previous limited studio efforts, this live recording showcases a unique synthesis of traditional Finnish folklore, ambient, and electronic music. The sonic palette is built on the contrast between delicate string arpeggios and subtle electric guitar textures. Released as a double colored vinyl, the record is aimed at enthusiasts of experimental rock and early German electronic music.
