The idea of making this vinyl record was born when in June 2020 I composed my first song entirely by myself, when I was 9 years old. That song is included on this album under the title Nothing to Lose. At that time I had already been studying piano with my beloved Maestro Lopez for about two years, and now and then, together with my sister Amanda, I participated as a singer in my brother Davide's small concerts... now he is the drummer of Sonic Rootz!

Yes, I have two siblings, Davide, born in 2007 who began studying drums at the age of seven with Maestro Perrone and finally there is my adored Amanda, born in 2014 who participated in this record singing the backing vocals, playing some percussion and making us laugh a lot. A few months ago Amanda started studying the bass and when she plays the walls of our house collapse.

Music is everywhere in my family. We listen to all the rock, soul and blues music you can imagine, from the 50s to today! My father raised all of his children with one priority, music.

We have never had a games console in the house and only turn on the television once a week to watch our favorite football team!

Thanks to my parents, we discovered and loved the greats of all time, from Sam Cooke to Otis Redding, from Ray Charles to Marvin Gaye and Muddy Waters. I grew up listening to Bon Scott, Paul Rodgers and David Coverdale, I know every note of all The Beatles albums!

I personally love the three kings: BB King, Freddy King and Albert King, along with Steve Ray Vaughan, Clapton, Buddy Guy and Gary Moore, of course.

In this album, we put our heart and passion into Blues Rock. We spent unforgettable moments creating it, but we also made many sacrifices, dedicating almost all our free time to record it.

This first album of ours will be unrepeatable in the future. Inside is only the truth, only what we really like to play, without compromise, without rules, with no other purpose than to get together and capture a musical snapshot, like a postcard of our family that we will always remember.
