Zayk - Durch den Äther (2017)

The Swiss band Zayk emerged in Zurich from a shared passion for improvisation and a lack of formal technical training, which enabled the collective to develop a unique musical language. The group's work is characterized by long, repetitive, and trance-inducing compositions that blend psychedelic elements with abstract soundscapes. Since their debut at the 2013 Swiss Psych Fest, the ensemble has toured extensively across Europe. Their discography includes a successful self-titled debut album from 2015 and a second LP, "Durch den Äther," released on Bongo Joe Records in 2017. Zayk's creative process relies on the collective interplay of instruments with occasional vocal threads, creating a deeply immersive experience for the audience.
