Customs - LOVE IS THE FUTURE (2026) Hi-Res

Customs relaunched in 2024/25 - after a six-year hiatus - with numerous new singles and around 25 performances across the country. The band reached its commercial peak in its early years, starting in 2009, with hits on the Afrekening and slots on major stages and festivals.

This single certainly captures the vibe of those early years. "Love Is The Future" hits home with the chorus, and the sharp song is packaged in the band's signature style. A driving rhythm section, angular guitar riffs, and witty melodic vocals! Very recognizably Customs, and as always, with a nod to the post-punk of the early eighties.

"Love Is The Future" will be Customs' fifth full-length album and will be released on February 27, 2026. The release show will take place on March 10, 2026, at Het Depot (Leuven). Those who can't wait for this might still be able to snag a ticket for the try-out at Café St. Georges, Roeselare, on February 20th, which you could already hear about at Luminous Dash.
