Camino is conceived as both a personal and artistic journey through Spanish music for violin and piano, spanning more than two centuries of musical thought. For the Duo Delibes — sisters Esther and Sara Gutiérrez, born in Valladolid and now based in Germany and the Netherlands — the project grew naturally from a recurring question encountered on international stages: can you perform Spanish music?

While a handful of celebrated Spanish works have secured a place in the standard repertoire, much of this rich tradition remains unexplored, unpublished, or unrecorded. The program presented.
