Thomas Bergsten Trio entered Taakeheimen in January 2025 to record music that would show Bergsten's sculptures and found sounds, a project that has lasted for almost 10 years without proper documentation. Three compositions and a longer improvised stretch show Bergsten's found soundscape in real HiFi for the first time. It all has an undertone of Bergsten's slightly poor mental form, which would turn out a few months later to be due to a huge kidney stone. But the playing is nothing to complain about from anyone, in the strict and playful compositions you can hear traces of, among others, The Red Krayola, Pauline Oliveros, Sun Ra and Mary Halvorson.
