Singer/guitarist/songwriter Micah Brown's debut full length album, The Isle of Her, is a product of the last two years of writing and recording at 17th Street Recording Studio in Costa Mesa, CA, with producer/engineer Lewis Richards (Slightly Stoopid, Sublime, Dirty Heads). In Micah's words, it's like a mixtape of my influences, as performed by me, along with some friends in our own unique style. Blending folk, americana, blues, acoustic, soul, rock and reggae to create a sound that eminates the california coast, the polynesian islands, with roots reaching back to the delta blues of the deep south and beyond, it's a brand new kind of Soul/Folk that can't be described, but must be heard to understand.
