Mosaic - Unfolding Tiles (2026) [Hi-Res]

The debut album by the international sextet Mosaic represents a unique synthesis of Balkan folklore, North African rhythms, and European jazz. Comprising musicians from four different nations, the ensemble has crafted an eclectic tapestry that blends dynamic, high-velocity grooves with lyrical accordion and cello passages. The compositions are the result of collective creation rooted in oral traditions and mutual cultural exchange. This work symbolizes the contemporary Mediterranean music scene, where ethnic traditions seamlessly intertwine with the improvisational freedom of jazz. The recording took place in late 2023 in France, featuring a guest appearance by saxophonist Fabrizio Cassol.
