Anna Cimenti was born on April 12, 1968, into a family where music and art were the lifeblood. On the one hand, her paternal uncles, who loved opera, on the other, her maternal grandparents, who, as children, had been members of a dialect theater company (a rarity at the time, dating back to the pre-World War II period).

At the age of seven, she began studying piano, and despite her youth, she was recognized as a natural talent.

At twenty-three, she earned a piano diploma from the "A. Pedrollo" Conservatory in Vicenza, followed by a year of advanced jazz piano studies under Maestro Paolo Birro.

But another passion would be crucial in her artistic path, a talent that allowed her to express herself fully and an irrepressible urge she could no longer do without: the art of singing.

A distinctive voice that, even as a child, exuded a joyful personality and boundless energy. A soul full of vitality and positivity, yet in need of direction.

Anna is a curious and passionate girl, and this drives her to study music seriously, pursuing two parallel paths: jazz and opera.

She attended masterclasses with international teachers between 1992 and 2004 (Sheila Jordan, Jay Clayton, Mark Murphy, Nancy Marano, Vivian Lord-Aldge, Rachel Gould, Kate Baker, to name a few), and at the age of twenty-eight, she passed the Conservatory's lower opera singing exam, studying first as a private student at the Manzato Institute in Treviso, under the guidance of Elisabetta Tandura, and then as a private student with Elisabetta Battaglia.

She sings as a soloist in groups of various genres, from pop (LENONO, all-female group; HEARTLY HEAVEN, unreleased songs) to the blues-rock of Robben Ford (POLLO BAND), the funky soul of Chaka Khan, Aretha Franklin, and '70s/'80s funk (SIFASOUL), to the acid jazz of Incognito (BLACKJAM). Her voice is also appreciated in the dance music field, and she has recorded songs for independent and non-independent labels (GENERAL RECORDS, Verona; MEDIA RECORDS, Brescia; PROPRIO RECORDS, Milan; STUDIO BWL, Milan; ZIIOZOO PRODUCTIONS, Modena; UNITED STUDIOS, Udine). She firmly believes that all these experiences will create a complete and multifaceted artist, but it is her studies that make her competent in this field.

Her numerous trips abroad are part of her curious nature, exploring the unknown (New York, London, Amsterdam, Munich, Mexico Tours, San Diego, Salzburg, Vienna, Singapore, Malaysia Tours, Australia Tours, Egypt Tours), and have opened her mind more than any other experience.

After learning about the Monari Method (Bologna), she earned her therapist diploma in 1998 while attending the center, inspiring her teaching method, working on the muscular structure and releasing tensions that block the correct use of the body. Always seeking new vocal techniques, she discovered Mixed Voice during the "Voce Pura" Congress in April 2018 in Verona, a technique that simplifies vocal training for both teacher and student.

She continues teaching by collaborating with various music schools, but in 2012 she founded the Note Vocali Association, organizing performances for her students to introduce them professionally to the world of entertainment.

During this relatively long period, she took a break from live performances and became the mother of two beautiful children.

In November 2018, she returned to music and, after a masterclass with Maestro Barry Harris in Bologna, realized that teaching was no longer enough to fill the void created by the suspension of live performances. Driven by the recognition of her talent by such an authoritative figure, she returned to singing with jazz groups.

In August 2019, she recorded her first jazz album, "After the Rain," supported by a group of musician friends, and realized that "it's no longer a simple return, but rather a definitive presence."
