The Cowboy writes songs like someone trying to remember a dream before it slips into the morning. Soft, aching, cracked open. We’ve often said he’s the best songwriter we know, and now we get to say something even better: his opus is the first release on Holy Roll Records.

This isn’t just our debut. It’s the reason we started the label at all.
