Resavoir, a project led by Chicago multi-instrumentalist Will Miller, has released "Themes For Dreams," the most intimate and minimalist installment in the artist's discography. The album eschews percussion entirely, prioritizing immersive textures inspired by 1980s ambient masterworks and neoclassical traditions. The central sonic element is the Hohner Pianet, an electromechanical keyboard that integrates archival sketches with contemporary compositions. Featuring various collaborators, the record draws from the legacies of Bach and Japanese minimalism. Designed for therapeutic listening, the project represents a significant shift toward creative autonomy and self-reflection within Miller’s evolving body of work.
