KILL THE GHOST is the third studio album by Dallas alt-pop trio little image — Jackson Simmons (vocals), Troy Bruner (drums), and Brandon Walters (bass/keys) — released 27 March 2026 via Hollywood Records / Crush Music. The record follows a difficult 2024 that the band channeled directly into songwriting, making KILL THE GHOST one of their most personal and cathartic bodies of work to date.
The album's title and thematic core centre on inner conflict, self-sabotage, and the ongoing work of transformation — what Bruner calls "the never-ending struggle of the human spirit and its battle against itself." A run of lead singles throughout 2025 and early 2026 — "The Pressure," "Run for Forever," "Novocaine," "Kill the Ghost," and the moody, dancefloor-ready "Real Estate" — laid the groundwork, each accompanied by striking visuals from frequent collaborator and director Sawyer Skipper. Apple Music describes the trio as trafficking in "deliberate, alternative pop songs rooted in post-punk, hook-filled dance rock, and lush indie electronic" — a sound that crystallised when the band shifted away from conventional rock instrumentation during the pandemic and leaned into electronics. KILL THE GHOST is the fullest expression yet of that sonic identity.
