LYYRA - Rising (2026) [Hi-Res]

Rising, the debut album from all-women a capella ensemble Lyyra (the only one of its kind based in the United States) is a genre-defying album that showcases the multifaceted beauty of upper voices. Created by VOCES 8, Lyyra’s members are Anna Crumley, MaryRuth Miller, Elizabeth Tait, Ingrid Johnson, Aryssa Leigh Burrs and Cecille Elliott, representing a wide range of specialisms in classical, jazz, pop, folk and more.

Featuring never-before-heard arrangements written for Lyyra, Rising features music by singer-songwriters (Vienna Teng, Donny Hathaway, Simon & Garfunkel, Billie Eillish) and contemporary composers (Leslie Savoy Burrs, Amy Beach), with traditional music such as “Will the Circle Be Unbroken” and Hildegard von Bingen’s “Caritas Abundat”.
