The French collective Aïteka, led by Noé Moureaux, presents their debut album "Coquí," blending Afrobeat, funk, and jazz. The group's music combines festive dance energy with conscious lyrics addressing environmental and social issues, symbolized by the album's title—a tribute to an endangered Puerto Rican frog. A central figure of the project is vocalist Adriana Maria, whose background in Latin music and Afrobeat provides the collective with a unique sound at the intersection of diverse cultural traditions.
