there's an atm inside is the debut album by Peter Sagar under the alias ps goner, released on April 3, 2026 via his own imprint SHHOAMKEE Records. Best known for seven acclaimed albums as Homeshake — a project synonymous with hypnagogic pop and synthetic R&B minimalism — Sagar uses this new vehicle to pursue a radically different sonic direction. Swapping hazy synthesizers for steel guitar, piano, and Americana-rooted songcraft, and recording the entire album directly to cassette tape, he steps squarely into the territories of alternative country and slowcore.
The record unfolds as a quiet, funereal moodscape: a lonesome figure drifting through dusky, open vistas. Sagar plays with listener expectation throughout — most notably in the album's seventh track, titled simply "???" — while keeping his signature emotional precision intact.
