The Knife is the fourth and final studio album by the British rock band The O Band (also known as A Band Called 'O'), released in 1977 by United Artists Records.
The O Band (full name A Band Called 'O') was a British rock band of the 1970s whose history is inextricably linked to the island of Jersey and their evolution from progressive rock to a softer American sound.
The band disbanded in the late 1970s (in 1977 or 1978). In August 2018, more than 40 years after their breakup, the original members reunited for a one-off special concert on their home island of Jersey at the Watersplash club. Sadly, in 2021, the tragic death of the band's frontman, Picks (Jonathan Pickford), was announced.
