The Other Sides of Agitation Free is an album of archival recordings by the German krautrock band Agitation Free, released in 1999 by Garden of Delights.
The album is a collection of previously unreleased studio recordings, recorded in 1974, shortly before the band's first breakup. In contrast to the classic "spacey" sound of their earlier albums (Malesch, 2nd), this release demonstrates the band's shift toward a more commercial jazz-rock and fusion sound.
The recordings feature bassist Michael Günther and guitarist Gustl Lütjens, as well as guest musicians such as Harald Grosskopf (Wallenstein) and Manfred Opitz (Metropolis).
While most of Agitation Free's music is instrumental, this collection includes tracks with vocals, including excerpts from the political radio play "Störenfried."
