LYR - An Unnatural History (2024)

"An Unnatural History" is an interdisciplinary project by the band LYR that combines poetry and music to recreate Barnsley's lost Natural History Museum. By exploring the archives and psychogeography of Eldon Street, the creators presented a unique performance where local urban legends and fauna intertwine with mythical imagery. The work reimagines the city's cultural heritage, linking its historical past with contemporary reality and imaginative futures.
