The Chicago-based independent label FPE Records celebrates a decade of operation with the release of the extensive collection A Compilation For Practically Everyone. Founded by Matt Pakulski during an industry crisis, the label has become a platform for genre-defying music ranging from Ethiopian pop and avant-garde jazz to Indonesian gabber and Brazilian disco. The project's core mission is to support artists who bypass mainstream trends and to cultivate a global community existing outside standard digital consumption algorithms.
