Carolina Bubbico’s fourth album, "Vocàlia," is a conceptual vocal project inspired by the experience of motherhood and dedicated to future generations. In this work, the artist’s voice substitutes a full orchestra, fulfilling the functions of strings, brass, and percussion through complex multilayered harmonies and polyrhythms. Using the Latin etymology for "vowels" as a starting point, Bubbico explores the primal nature of singing to create an inclusive musical space. The album merges themes of femininity and ancestry, transforming vocal arrangements into an intricate architectural form where individual performance merges into a powerful collective statement.
