Simon Farintosh, Robert Wang & Robert Ward - Filamentos (2026) Hi-Res

FILAMENTOS brings together works by Dominican-Canadian composer Liova Bueno, some developed through a long-standing composer–performer collaboration with guitarist Alexander Dunn, and others written subsequently, continuing the musical and aesthetic ideas shaped through their artistic dialogue. Featuring Dunn’s former duo partner Robert Ward and his protégés Robert Wang and Simon Farintosh, the album connects two generations of guitarists. Works such as Cuatro Recuerdos and Duo Fantástico emerged from rehearsal dialogue, experimentation, and sustained artistic exchange between Bueno and Dunn. Nocturne (to Frankenstein) was composed in Dunn’s memory, reflecting aspects of his musical personality, while Tableaux, written afterward, further explores these shared aesthetic threads.
