Lady of the Moon is the second full-length album by Canadian artist Kailan McGee, released on April 1, 2026.
This conceptual longplay is inspired by the mythology and legends of the Black Forest in Germany. The album's release was timed to coincide with the Pink Moon, and its structure and mood are closely tied to lunar phases and witchy lore.
Unlike her debut album, The Songstress' Empire (2025), which was based on personal experience, this work is a product of her imagination and an artistic narrative about mythical creatures.
All songs were written by Kailan McGee herself. She also created the album cover, which she painted in oils.
The recording features Darrell Wallace (guitar), Graham Shaw and Jacob McGee-Gauthier (drums), and Kevin Comeau (bass and keyboards).
