The Oscar Peterson Trio - We Get Requests (1964) [2023 SACD]

"We Get Requests" is Peterson's final album production with the Verve label after a 14-year association before moving to MPS. Producer Jim Davis put his focus on capturing the authentic live sound in the studio; a lively and fine recording was created, which brings across the great harmony of the trio through the many years of playing together in the same line-up with Ray Brown on bass and Ed Thigpen on drums. The recording took place in 1964 at New York's RCA Studios.
