Horizons is a program whose theme is primarily reflective and spiritual in nature. Such thoughtful music as Hovhaness' "Prayer of St. Gregory" and the "Tui Nati vulnerati" from Dvorak's Stabat Mater is sprinkled with the occasional lighter works such as the Scherzo from Tchaikovsky's Symphony No. 1 'Winter Dreams' and the delightful opening movement of Dvorak's Wind Serenade.
