With this recording Violetta Khachikyan releases her third solo album, dedicated to rarely performed works from the Renaissance, early Baroque and Classical periods, played on a grand piano of the 21st century. Particular mention should be made of the three composers Marianne von Martinez, Élisabeth Jacquet de La Guerre and Jekaterina Alexejewna Woronzowa. Ravel's Le Tombeau de Couperin seems like a retrospective and at the same time an innovative creation of old dances and forms, complemented by new harmonies and the technical inventions of the modern instrument.
