A live concert album recorded on May 3, 2025, at the Pacifico Yokohama National Hall, this release is the fifth installment in the "Kimetsu no Kanade" (鬼滅の奏) orchestra concert series dedicated to the music of the anime franchise "Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba." The album focuses entirely on the music from the Hashira Training Arc (柱稽古編), the fourth season of the anime, which premiered in spring 2024.
The performance was delivered by the Tokyo Philharmonic Orchestra under the baton of conductor Hirofumi Kurita, the resident conductor for the entire "Kimetsu no Kanade" series. The original score was composed by Yuki Kajiura and Go Shiina, who have been collaborating on the franchise's soundtrack since its 2019 debut. Kajiura, widely recognized for her work on "Fate/Zero," "Sword Art Online," and "Puella Magi Madoka Magica," created the foundational themes that defined the soundtrack's identity, while Shiina developed an extensive body of scene-specific orchestral scoring following the established tonal framework. Orchestral arrangements for the concert program were prepared by a team of arrangers including Sachiko Miyano, Yu Kobayashi, and others.
The release comprises a double CD set containing 67 tracks and is available in two editions: a standard version and a first-press limited edition that includes a Blu-ray disc with footage from the evening performance, a three-sided box, and a reduced-size pamphlet. The release date is April 22, 2026.
By this point, the "Kimetsu no Kanade" series spans all major arcs of the anime: "Tanjiro Kamado, Unwavering Resolve" (first concert, recorded at Tokyo International Forum in November 2020), "Mugen Train," "Entertainment District" (Pacifico Yokohama, March 2023), and "Swordsmith Village" — forming a comprehensive concert discography that parallels the progression of the series.
