Sweet Pain is the self-titled debut album by the British blues rock band, released in May 1969 on Mercury Records. In the US and Canada, the album was also released as "England's Heavy Blues Super Session."
The album is a "super session" featuring prominent figures of the British blues scene of the time. The music combines heavy blues rock with elements of psychedelia.
It was the band's only album under this name. Today, it is prized by collectors as an important document of the British blues boom of the late 1960s.
