Archaeoacoustics is a conceptual album by saxophonist and producer Ben Solomon, built upon the transformation of historical sound fragments: samples drawn from documentary films, classical works by Debussy and Stravinsky, Coltrane interviews, film scores, and folk music. Source materials are deliberately altered or removed, preserving only their underlying energy. The sampling ethos of Nujabes and De La Soul is applied to jazz and electronic production, with Ravel's harmonic language and Coltrane's melodic logic serving as theoretical foundations. Drummer Kush Abadey appears on two tracks.Title: Archaeoacoustics
