Toadies - The Charmer (2026) [Hi-Res]

Toadies have announced their upcoming studio album, The Charmer, scheduled for release on May 1, 2026. The record is significant as it marks one of the final projects completed by the late legendary producer Steve Albini at his Electrical Audio studio. Recorded entirely on analog tape without digital intervention, the album captures the raw, live energy of the band. The title track explores frontman Vaden Lewis’s internal struggle with self-loathing, which he personified as a character during pandemic-era isolation. A music video directed by guitarist Clark Vogeler features behind-the-scenes footage of the sessions and Albini’s creative process. The release will be supported by an extensive U.S. nationwide tour and festival appearances.
