Street Noise Invades the House (2007) is the second and final studio album by the British indie rock band Flamingoes. The album was released 12 years after their critically acclaimed debut, Plastic Jewels (1995), which was released during the Britpop era.
After this album, the band members shifted their focus to writing. Jude Cooke became a successful writer (author of the novels Byron Easy and Jacob's Advice) and writing teacher, while James Cooke also writes prose and criticism for publications such as The Guardian.
