Dutch composer Pieter de Graaf has made his feature film debut with the soundtrack for the 2024 Austrian horror film "Solvent." Moving away from his traditional piano minimalism, the musician created an experimental tapestry blending orchestral elements with unconventional sound sources, including vocals, toy instruments, and found objects. The work is defined by its dark atmosphere and an intuitive approach to composition. Scheduled for release in April 2026, the album showcases the artist's evolution from neo-classical and jazz roots toward complex, immersive cinematic soundscapes.
