"Fall Towards the Sky" is an ambitious concept album that cements EchoVerse's place as a leader in the contemporary Christian progressive scene. While the band's debut album leaned more toward classic hard rock, here the musicians embrace complexity, layering, and epicness.
A blend of neo-progressive grooves, heavy guitar riffs, and symphonic keyboards, the influence of bands like Kansas, Dream Theater, and Neal Morse is most evident here.
The album sounds dense and modern. Doug Bowers (producer and multi-instrumentalist) created a rich sonic landscape that encompasses acoustic interludes, complex time signatures, and powerful choral choruses.
