Nick Harley, an experienced multi-instrumentalist and indie scene veteran, has unveiled his debut solo album, "Easy Moon." The record blends the 90s alternative rock aesthetics of bands like Pavement with deep roots in folk, country, and Americana. Recorded in a home studio in Kentucky and inspired by an ascetic life in the forest, the album maintains a raw, natural sound achieved through the use of analog TASCAM recording equipment. Lyrically, the work serves as a coming-of-age story, where the author's personal experiences intertwine with universal themes of love and life. Released on the independent label Slough Water Records, the project highlights the artist's eclectic and genre-defying approach to creativity.
