The project is accompanied by a double single, "Favorite Person" and "Fiona," which present a conceptual narrative centered around a mysterious character "R" experiencing romantic and emotional conflicts. "Favorite Person" explores themes of confusion and remorse between two relationships, while "Fiona" conveys feelings of nostalgia, yearning, and hope.
The artist, who has surpassed 900 million streams and performed alongside Fall Out Boy, Avril Lavigne, and other leading performers, continues building her alternative sound following successful 2022 releases and the song "Wasteland" from the Arcane soundtrack, which garnered over 115 million listens.
