MAKSIMAL presents three works by the American composer Daniel Temkin. The focus is on the violin concerto "Maksimal", which was written for Francisco Fullana, who performs it here together with Ryan McAdams and the Maksimal Ensemble. Luminous, agile and rhythmic, the three movements balance solo virtuosity and a lively dialog with the ensemble, inspired by the baroque instrumental concerto. The portrait is completed by three piano pieces entitled "Dreamed Landscapes" and the string quartet "Ocean's Call".
