Michael A. Muller - Elyria Sound (2026) [Hi-Res]

Michael A. Muller has released a solo guitar album titled Elyria Sound, recorded live to analog tape in January 2026. This minimalist project marks a transition from his previous complex arrangements toward absolute simplicity: one instrument and one room. The album's concept is inspired by the artist's years spent in Elyria Canyon, Los Angeles, and is rich with sensory imagery from that period. To create the record, Muller developed unique guitar tunings, resulting in a meditative, cyclical sound that pays homage to the traditions of David Pajo. The high-end production was handled by Grammy-winning engineer Jonathan Low in collaboration with The Vinyl Factory.
