Lydia Lunch – 8-eyed Spy (1997)

"Dust Giant" is the self-titled studio album by American stoner rock band Dust Giant, released on May 6, 2026. The release follows their debut conceptual album, Static in the Blood, released in January of the same year. The new album retains the sci-fi theme but is more dynamic, structurally succinct, and sonically heavier.
The album combines monolithic riffs, a dense rhythm section, fuzz-laden guitars, and dark, atmospheric solos. The lyrics develop a story of survival in space, exploring themes of inevitability, existential crisis, and transformation. Unlike the debut release, this album features fewer drawn-out intros and a more aggressive delivery.
