Jazz Passengers – Livelove Series, Vol. 4 - April 1990 is a live album by the American jazz group The Jazz Passengers, released in 2015 by the German label Promising Music.
The album combines elements of avant-garde jazz, post-bop, art rock, and cabaret. The group's music is imbued with eccentric humor, a theatrical delivery, and complex instrumental polyphony reminiscent of Frank Zappa. The live performances are characterized by high energy, a raw sound without studio editing, and frequent transitions from strict arrangements to free improvisation.
The group's founder, Roy Nathanson, called this performance the best concert of the group's entire creative period.
